What a curios plan!

There is no substance in fashion photography, not unless you think of a concept which conveys a message to an audience. This is why I feel the need to find solace in art, and go back to my creative roots, since watercolor has always had a great appeal to me, one which seemed lost for such a long time. But I think of it this way: “You fall in love twice: the first thinking that it’s the only time, the second time understanding that this was the first”
I am on the right track back to painting each day. Therefore I am going to post a small painting each Wednesday from now on. I’m starting off with flowers since I need all the petals I can think of for a future print. I’ll gradually move on to something else when I’m ready. Portraiture seems like a distant dream, nevertheless I’d better be careful what I wish for, since I might actually get it.
Posting these three for a start. The abstract one was purely experimental and playful. I should do that more often.

I love your art. When I look at them I see fragility and light. I see beauty. The middle one especially. It tells me a story about the transparency of the soul; about how our little worries can be dissolved in soft watercolour. Maybe I imagine too much. But I think it’s good to fantasize anyway. Concepts are often born from dreams :)
